As the county starts to get better, leaders and regular people are helping those who were hurt. Resources are being sent across the state to help fix up houses, get utilities back on, and help families who have been forced to move. Volunteers are also helping by giving people in need essential goods and services.
Galveston County didn't have as much damage as Montgomery or Chambers Counties, where EF-3 tornadoes did a lot of damage. Still, the community is working together to rebuild and help nearby areas that were hit harder.
