After police found Tammy King's death in her house in Bacliff on February 6, the authorities began the search. Officers went to a home in the 4000 block of 15th Street to investigate a report of a welfare issue. There, they discovered the victim, who had allegedly died the day before.
Ureck and King were found by law authorities in Laredo on Sunday, February 9, after an extensive search for them. The search and the arrests that followed were aided by several different agencies.
As of Monday, it was not known if the suspects had a lawyer representing them. The authorities are still looking into the details of Tammy King's death.
